Discretion
Suppliers arrive early and leave before you do. Nobody is briefed who does not need to be. Your surprise stays a surprise.
We have spent more than a decade producing celebrations in the Basque Country. A proposal asks for the same rigour in a tenth of the time.
20eventos was founded in San Sebastián in 2011 by Leire Ibáñez as a destination wedding planning studio for couples arriving from abroad. Over the following decade the team produced celebrations across Gipuzkoa, Biscay, La Rioja and the South of France, for families travelling from more than twenty countries.
Proposals grew out of a request we kept receiving: could we plan the moment before the wedding as carefully as the wedding itself. It turns out that a proposal is a harder brief. There is one attempt, one guest, and no rehearsal.
So we treat it like a production. A single planner owns your file from the first call to the last photograph, and everything — permits, styling, transport, photography, the restaurant afterwards — sits on one timeline that only we can see.

Suppliers arrive early and leave before you do. Nobody is briefed who does not need to be. Your surprise stays a surprise.
We live here. Permissions, tides, festival calendars and the exact minute the sun leaves La Concha are not things we research — they are things we know.
You speak to the planner who is designing your proposal, in English or Spanish, from the first message to the day itself.
The Atlantic coast is beautiful and unreliable. Every proposal we produce carries a fully planned indoor alternative that is never a downgrade.

We take a limited number of proposals each month so that each one gets a planner on site, not a checklist. Alongside the core team we work with a fixed circle of photographers, florists, musicians and drivers we have used for years.

Tell us who you are, where you are dreaming of, and roughly when. We reply to every enquiry personally within two working days.
