It takes a minute, it lasts forever
A proposal is the shortest event we plan and the one that is remembered in the most detail. It lasts a few minutes, it cannot be rehearsed with the person it is for, and there is no second take.
That is exactly why it deserves a planner. We scout the setting, secure the permissions, brief the photographer, watch the weather, and hold the whole timeline quietly in the background — so that when the moment arrives, you are entirely present for it.
Who you will be working with
Planned by Leire, the soul behind 20eventos
Proposals is the private-moments studio of 20eventos, the wedding planning house founded in San Sebastián in 2011 by Leire Ibáñez. The same team, the same suppliers, the same standard — applied to the ten minutes that start everything.
Because we plan weddings across the Basque Country and the South of France all year, we already know which terrace is empty on a Tuesday in June, which permit takes three weeks, and which photographer can work without being noticed.

Discovery call
A private conversation — how you met, what she or he loves, the level of surprise you want, your dates and your budget. We listen, then tell you honestly what is possible.

The design
You receive a proposal concept: setting, timing to the minute, styling, flowers, music, photographer and a plan B for weather. Nothing is booked until you approve it.

The moment
On the day we are on site before you arrive, coordinating every supplier out of sight. You walk in, you ask, and the rest of the day is already arranged.

Questions we are asked first
Two months is comfortable, and it lets us hold the best light of the season. We have produced proposals in three weeks, and occasionally in ten days when the setting is simple and the dates are flexible. Peak weeks — July, August and the days around Christmas — book earliest.
There is no fixed price list. Every proposal is quoted individually, because the setting, the styling and the suppliers change with each one. The packages page sets out the three levels of production and what each includes — tell us what you have in mind and you will have a full, itemised quote within two working days, with nothing booked until you approve it.
Every proposal we produce includes a fully planned indoor alternative that is designed to be as good as the original, not a fallback.
